Bridgette Bradley has been developing her private consultancy practice, Derbyshire Pilates, since 1999. She has a Masters degree in Occupational Psychology and is a graduate member of the British Psychological Society, with a special interest in the Sports and Exercise division.
Her expertise in ergonomics centres around the relationship between people and the physical and psychological demands of their working environment.
Over the years Bridgette has developed an holistic approach to her work, combining her knowledge in physiological psychology with the Pilates method to design rehabilitation programmes.
The Pilates programmes on the site have been designed by her to help guide and facilitate your Pilates practice. Every effort has been made to keep the integrity of Joseph Pilates’ work, to help you take care of your body and to nurture your mind, as Joseph would have wished.
Bridgette practices Pilates with a passion. After a riding accident in her early 20’s, she spent many hours with a physiotherapist learning to move again. Since then as the years have gone by Pilates has become a way of life, helping to manage and relieve the pain from old injuries.
